This weekend I’ve been to a farwell party. My friend Erynn from USA, she is going back, so we were at her house having fun. When everything, finished, went to her room and i found this book. ” When dreams come true” Eric and Leslie Ludy.
I heard about them but I never read any of their books..Now was my chance to do it. So I asked Erynn to give it to me..I stared reading, and I can tell you that it is amaizing. I love it with all of my heart.
It starts by telling their story, she says her story and he tells his. And then together they share the love story that came from God. She was 16 and he was 22 , when they decided to be more than friends.
You know, I told myself that i will not read books like this, since I read a few, and nothing was like in the book, but this time is different, it changes everything. Here are not rules of what to do, or not to do. This book talks about dreams coming true, it gives me the assurance that dreams can come true, when God takes part in it.
Maybe you thought about your partener, or your future wife/husband..and you want your love story to be in a certain way, at least are people who do, if you gave up with this..it is your choice, or maybe you are waiting, and sometimes you’re tired of waiting and you make mistakes, and you don’t think that God could ever do something in your situation. All I know is that for this girl, even if she made mistakes, God was there, and her dream came true, because she believed and she prayed.
What I found interesting about this story, was that Eric decided to write a love letter to his future wife, even though he did not knew her ,and he started to pray for her. What i am going to say now, it is stupid but it is true, I had a moment in my life when i did the same thing, i have no ideea why, but i felt like doing it..i think i still have the poem somewhere..LOL
So, I did not finish the book yet, I am waiting for the end, but I know that God want to teach me something. I should never give up, continue to pray, even if are times when i don’t feel like, hoping, waiting for my dream come true, and if I have to wait so much, as Eric said in the book “then he’d better be worth to wait!”, of course he said “she”, but that doesn’t apply in my situation… LOL
So, guys and girls, warriors and princesses, as a good friend used to say, never give up your dream, one day God will fufill it!!! That is sure!! And let me know when it does, because i want to rejoice with you!!
